Just how old is the Bible, anyway? The answer’s not that simple because it wasn’t written all at one time; it was written by forty different authors over a 1,500 year-period. The first book was written around 1400 BC, the last book around AD 90. So going back to the first book, the Bible would be over 3,400 years old! And if you counted from when the last book was written, it’d still be over 1,900 years old. Considering the fact that the Bible is the highest selling book to date ever, even after all these centuries of time, it looks obvious that it’s going to last forever. Besides, God’s own Word says it will, and His Word is truth. What a gift!
